"One More Thing" from Macworld

Today at Apple's annual Macworld Conference CEO Steve Jobs introduced his traditional "One More Thing" product to an eager audience and it was well worth the wait. The new Macbook Pro, Apple's first Intel Based Laptop
sports dual cores in either 1.67 or 1.83ghz and may very well be the "fastest notebook ever" according to Jobs. Other products announced today were the new intel processor iMac and updates to the iLife and iWork software suites as well as new features on Apple's .mac service.

Needless to say I am excited about all the annoucements and most definitely see a new Macbook Pro in my future very soon. Check out the video webcast of the entire event or click on the links above for more info.

Ebay Afternoons...

Well today has been a rainy day here in N. Western NC but what can you do? Although I have a sh*tload of work to do this week spring break is next week so i'm just looking forward that. I have to admit that Ebay once again made my afternoon. I checked my auctions and was happy to see that this charger for a Canon GL1 Camera that somehow got mixed up in somethings of mine when I moved over a year ago is selling for $75.00 right now. Amazing to me since it had been collecting dust in this bag of wires and things until yesterday afternoon when I saw it and decided to list it on Ebay to see what I could get out of it. Needless to say i'm smiling now... Ladies and Gentleman the power of Ebay! Ok, i have to stop talking about Ebay on here... it's looking like I work for them or better yet like some kind of Ebay testimonial site. :-) Alright here's what i'll do... I promise not to mention my ebay habits for atleast 5 posts. Any wagers to see if I can or can't do it?

Snowy, White, Ebay Addiction.

It's my second day here on TypePad and as I look around more and try to start adding some content to my site i'm beginning to enjoy it. Thanks to Paul for the nice comment about my efforts so far.

Anyway, today is Friday and the over a foot of snow we got yesterday has already mostly melted. I was hoping it would stick around for atleast a day but no such luck. It's really odd because yesterday it was so deep winter snow storm feeling and today it's blue skies and mid 50's with upper 60's expected tomorrow. Ok, now i'm rambling about the weather... Other than the snow, Ebay has been on my mind. Honestly I think I might be addicted people. I have to go there and browse electronics almost everyday. I'm like a person on crack excect my crack is Ebay. And now of course I have taken the enivetable next step and began selling things on Ebay too. Needless to say this makes me both excited and nervious. Excited because I get to see if anyone has bid on my items since I last checked (more than likely no less than, um, the eternity of 20-30 mins I can keep myself from checking). I'm pathetic, I know. Then there is the nervious side of me that comes into play because no one has yet to bid on the Lexmark Printer I have for sell on there and the Compaq Computer bundle I have on there has been at 100.00 and some change for over a day now. I just keep telling myself to relax... They will sell...right? :-) I won't even go into my plans to use the money I make off of these auctions to but a new printer for the house and a eMac for my mom. Yes, I am a sweet son. Feel free to comment on your own EBay addictions. Maybe we should start a support group. :-)

Ok thats all for now... I think i'll go check the bids on my listings. ;-)
